How to contact support
Use this page as the public support destination for the current MarginBundle deployment. If your App Store listing or merchant agreement provides a dedicated email or form, use that channel and include the details below.
What to include
- Shop domain and staff contact
- Current plan, billing status, or Shopify confirmation context
- Offer, product, customer group, discount, experiment, or referral ID when relevant
- Screenshot, product URL, theme name, and reproduction steps for storefront issues
- Whether the issue affects setup, publishing, checkout discounts, analytics, billing, or data handling
Common support topics
- Onboarding, product sync, product cost readiness, and first offer setup
- Bundle, add-on, quantity discount, and customer group promotion publishing
- Shopify Discount Function behavior and checkout discount confirmation
- Storefront widget installation, theme display, and app proxy behavior
- Product suggestions, attribution, campaign analytics, and reporting
- Shopify Billing confirmation, cancellation, downgrade, and plan changes
- Privacy requests, uninstall behavior, and Shopify privacy webhook questions
What happens next
Support will review the merchant context, reproduce the issue when possible, and respond with setup guidance, next diagnostic steps, or a product fix path. Avoid sending secrets, access tokens, private keys, or full customer exports in support messages.
App impact and estimate boundaries
MarginBundle reads catalog, inventory, accessible Shopify unit cost, and enabled operational data. A manual cost can override imported unit cost. Shopify changes begin only when a merchant publishes or pauses an offer: the app manages its discount resources and storefront offer serving, but does not bypass checkout, silently rewrite product prices, or expose merchant costs to shoppers. Profit guidance is estimated gross margin, not net profit, and excludes shipping, payment fees, returns, taxes, and advertising spend.
Pause offers before uninstall
Before uninstalling in Shopify, use Settings to pause all active and scheduled MarginBundle offers and review each outcome. Uninstall stops authenticated app access and MarginBundle storefront serving. Shopify privacy webhooks handle applicable data requests; limited records may be retained for compliance, security, and recovery. Reinstall may restore retained configuration, but resource cleanup or restoration is not promised unless the app can verify it.
